GIAL was formed back in 2004 based in the computer game Counter Strike, which today is one of the most famous games in e-sports history. GIAL participated in a couple of tournaments but never really showed itself as an international e-sport organization. In 2004 to 2006 GIAL made some major changes in the organizations structure, assets and goals.
Reorganized to enter the Danish e-sports market, GIAL made an agreement with two teams in Counter Strike and Counter Strike: Source. The teams had a great mount of success but nothing last forever, and in the end of 2006 GIAL decided to release the two teams. After a turbulent year of 2007, GIAL Gaming reopened in the middle of 2008, writing contract with one of the best Counter-Strike: Source teams in Europe, the cornerstone was in place for the future plans as an e-sport organization. GIAL Gaming is currently on standby but we will sometime in the future, re-surface to regain our former glory.
