The DONut Family was initially a Team Fortress Classic clan founded the 12th of April in 1999 by Glazed and Jelly. The leadership has shifted between "senior" DONuts since the founding. Presently the Joint Chiefs of DONut (JCoD) are: Jelly and Vanilla (Double_choc is on leave).

Online gaming is as much about having fun and making good friends as it is to win.
Another way of putting it: We hate to lose as much as anybody, but it's not the main thing for us. The DONut concept is based on the belief that names like KillaH and so on are for small boys in pre-puberty. The DONut Family are therefor strict about the names of the members, which MUST be DONut Related. We might try something to loosen this up a bit...

In march 2001 our TFC division closed for the first time. Its was time to try out new battlefields...

The CounterStrike mod then had to lift the heritage as the only mod played in The DONut Family. A lot of good CS-players thread there baby-CSing in DONut before moving on to other challenges...
It has been up and down for the CS-squad, but recently Raspberry has been put in charge to bring back some life to Counterstrike in the DONut Family. With a little luck, the Family will once again have fun in 5vs5 CS.

Battlefield 1942 made the DONuts turn their heads for a while and became part of the Family's curiculum for a short time as well. But it seemed to be a rather difficult game to maintain on clan level and the section closed down.

One really good thing came from the BF1942 adventure: Iced had joined the family and he started the DONut TFC-squad up again.
TFC is still the Daddy! For a time the Family had a rather strong side which was engaging in battles against some of Europes finest. All good times most come to an ned it seems. The adventure stopped hard just around ECTFCL - i wonder why.
BUT now - 1/2 a year since - Iced is giving it another go - after looking into CS:S and HL2-CTF and waiting inpatiently on HL2-TF(2), The DONuts are gathering what is left of the crumpling TFC-scene. We are crossing our fingers for another ecstatic time of TFC. A few of us still dream of a game like the one against AEG for the Ironglove League title! (We won btw!!)

At the moment there are many inactive DONuts and some active - some are wasting there time in World of Warcraft, others hang around for a chat, but the most important thing is, that almost everyone that has been a DONut, is staying a DONut forever! Games die (Except TFC ofcourse), but DONut survives!

When we need new members, our Squad leaders start looking out for talented players that has the potential of developing the spirit of a true DONut!
