Juha 'aNGeldusT' Kurppa spiller til dagligt for et af Finlands bedste Counter-Strike Source-mandskaber CKRAS, der lige i øjeblikket ligger på en ottende plads med 45 point på Cadred.orgs månedlige top10 liste over de bedste hold i Europa.

Hans hold deltager til DSRack LAN #2 der finder sted i Slangerup i disse dage. I forbindelse med optakten til lanet inden hovedturneringen begynder, har ArcticNova.org fanget englestøvet til en lille snak omkring holdets fremtidige planer, den finske Source-scene og ikke mindst holdets forberedelser op til eventen.

Her er en lille forsmag:

The semifinals in EMS VI was played yesterday, and DSRack shocked veryGames by giving them a pretty hard time. Will we see CKRAS on first place, beating VeryGames in the finals?
Obviously that would be the ideal situation for us, but at their current state, Verygames are a tough team to beat. They have utilized their grenades to a level that source hasn't seen yet, and they simply play so god damn much that it's hard for others to keep up with if people do other things than just play.

The finnish CS:S scene is pretty unknown for us Norwegians. How is Finland doing in competitive gaming nowadays?
The finnish scene at the moment is quite divided. We have about three teams that are considered "good", and then there is a huge skillgap and the rest of the teams follow. I believe, that with a certain type of national or so tournament, we could hitch the skill level up in the whole country and provide European CSS scene with a variety of better teams.

aNGeldusT siger blandt andet også, at resultaterne af eventen ikke kommer til at afhænge af den nyeste opdatering til Source, da alle de grundlæggende værdier i spillet stadig er der.

Hovedturneringen starter i morgen, og der vil følgende fem spillere repræsenteres CKRAS:
